The guys at Introversion obviously went for a retro arcade game look and they pulled it off easily.
Graphically Darwinia+ will disappoint those who now constantly expect Uncharted 2 quality every time they play a game, but to those who don't, the game's aesthetics can be quite charming. Each level can take up to an hour which can either go slow or fast depending on how good you are. You utilize all these darwinians in a group effort to take down the virus. The gameplay is also very simple, you have your regular citizens, leader citizens, engineers and soldiers.
#What is the soundtrack for the multiwinia Pc
The controls have most definitely made a smooth transition from PC to console. Darwinia+'s controls are very simple and have a low learning curve. Well the guys at Introversion did a great job in correcting that thought, well at least for their title. When people think console RTS, they usually think "I'd rather play it for PC". Now called Multiwinians they have their own sects and they battle amongst themselves. Basically after the virus was eradicated the Darwinians became more aggressive as a result of the previous fighting. Multiwinia's plot is a continuation of Darwinia's ending. I won't entirely spoil the ending, but the virus comes from something every internet user hates. Coincidentally you arrive on the scene just as Darwinia is under siege from an unknown virus. Darwinia is populated by simple but always evolving Darwinians who live simple lives working and growing until there eventual demise. Sepulveda creates a digital world called Darwinia.
Based on Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, Dr. Darwinia+ brings both these games together for an XBLA release, that RTS console gamers don't want to miss out on.ĭarwinia's plot is simple but neat. Darwinia+ consists of 2 different games, Darwinia which was originaly released for PC in 05 and its sequel Multiwinia released in 08.
